Galaxy Software sold digital transformation to restaurants, hotels, and retail chains. Internally, their own HR still ran on fingerprint terminals, Excel, and physical forms.
Leave balance, payslips, attendance records — all required asking HR to look something up in Excel manually.
Physical forms, handwritten signatures, and HR routing. Routine requests took days with no visibility into where they sat.
HR manually compiled attendance from fingerprint machine exports. No live data, no shift context, no photo proof.
Work history, tax, disciplinary records, training, and documents across separate systems and filing cabinets.
No real-time team attendance dashboard. Managers waited for HR to compile reports after the fact.
The internal tool had to be flexible enough to become a Galaxy ERP product for external clients.
This wasn't an attendance app. I designed the complete employee self-service experience from onboarding to offboarding.
Mapped the employee experience end-to-end to identify where the paper-heavy process broke down and where the platform resolved each friction point.
